Having trained locally at Central Hospital and then at St Michael’s Hospital in 1993 I have 20 years experience in nursing and 12 years at management level.

As The Responsible Individual I carry out all duties and responsibilities as required by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). My nursing experience has mainly focused on the care of individuals with severe and complex mental health needs. I am a great advocate of the therapeutic relationship and feel that without really getting to know those you care for you cant fully support them on their recovery journey.

My introduction to nursing was as a nursing assistant here at Guys Cross when I was 17. This is where I fell in love with nursing. I did my nurse training locally at Central Hospital and then at St Michael’s Hospital in 1993 I have over 31 year’s experience in nursing and 24 years at management level.
As The Responsible Individual I carry out all duties and responsibilities as required by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). My nursing experience has mainly focused on the care of individuals with severe and complex mental health needs. I am a great advocate of the therapeutic relationship and feel that without really getting to know those you care for you can’t fully support them on their recovery journey. Nursing has been my passion, and I am very proud of the team we have here.

Tracey Stickley

Hello my name is Tracey Stickley and I am the General Manager of Guys Cross Nursing Home. I trained in Gloucester at Coney Hill Hospital and worked in Gloucestershire until I moved to Warwickshire about 28 years ago.
As the General Manager I am responsible for overseeing everything that happens at Guys Cross; however I take a particular interest in the development of our clinical services. I have undertaken a wide variety of different training including Human Givens Therapy and I am very keen to use my experience and training to develop new ideas that will enrich the level of care delivery at Guys Cross such as the Guys Cross Recovery Model.

I have work within the care sector since 2006 progressed to become a registered mental health nurse at Coventry university in 2013. Throughout my career in care, I have specialised in caring for individuals with complex mental health needs and prompting independence and work in a recovery focused way.
 I have been working at management level for 8 years within Guys Cross nursing home and have now have the privilege to become Acting home manager.
As home manager I’m dedicated in providing quality care to all residents who live within the home and ensure care standards remain high. I work alongside governing bodies like The Care Quality Commission (CQC) to make sure that we are providing the best possible care for all residents who live within the home.

Stephanie Fetter
Quality Assurance Manager

Stephanie Fetter

I have worked in the health sector for over 31 years both working in learning disability and mental health. I managed a home supporting people with severe learning disabilities for a number of years before moving into Mental health and began working at Guys Cross as a quality assurance manager where I have been for the last 10 years.
I am a qualified NVQ assessor, and I have worked with many people to attain their qualifications.

Mark Wong, (RMN)
Deputy Home Manager / Rainsbrook Unit Manager

Mark Wong

I qualified as an RMN in 2007. I have worked in the NHS for 14 years previously and had wide experience in the metal health field. 
 My experiences to date have equipped me with up-to-date mental health practice knowledge, excellent leadership skills, monitoring of patient care delivery, nursing, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained throughout the home. I have been a student mentor for over 10 tears. I am a manual handling trainer. 
I use a person cantered approach in all aspects of a resident’s care and enjoy assisting individuals to be the best they can be. 
 

Jaqui Bower, (RMN)

Jaqui Bower

I qualified in 1983 and I worked in various settings prior to coming to Guys cross in 1994. I am employed as a nurse unit manager of Avon and I ensure that the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the residents are met at all times .I also ensure the safe running of the unit and provide supervision and support to the staff. I aim to be adaptable , motivated, and enthusiastic and try to deal with any challenges that come my way with a positive attitude.

I qualified as an RMN in 2012. Prior to registration, experience was gained within the NHS and private sector in both Mental Health and general medicine settings.
My broad experience and ongoing commitment to providing evidence-based practice supports the provision of contemporary evidence-based nursing, in a well led recovery focused service.
I have been an advocate of the person-centered approach throughout my career and am committed to ensure the continuation of this approach in all aspects of care delivery and team leadership.

Anita Sandam, (RMN)
Sherbourne Unit Manager

Anita Sandam

I qualified in 2008 and I am currently the Unit Manager of Sherbourne Unit and have been for the last 14 years I have previously worked within various mental health settings which has provided me with a good knowledge base to be able to give high standard of care for everyone who lives within the home. I have been a Student Mentor for over 15 years which means I have to keep up to date with the current legislation and policies. I work using a person-centred approach in all aspects of each individual resident’s care which enables me to give them the best quality of life that I can.
